The American Archaeological Society publishes an annual bulletin which is distributed to all current members. The Bulletin is a journal of local archaeology. As such it contains papers from both professional and avocational archaeologists on local state sites as well as those in the general region. It also contains papers concerning the latest archaeological techniques and interpretations of archaeological material in general. It serves as a repository for archaeological data and information for the state of Connecticut. The current issue is sent to paid-up members as part of the annual dues. Some back issues are available at a reasonable cost from the treasurer of the Society.
